It is our desire to serve our King and to build His kingdom by individually spending time with Him to be transformed into His likeness. While doing this we desire to work at intentionally loving others in order to proclaim Jesus and then to teach them to follow Him. We want to serve others-no matter their background-with the same love and grace that we have been given. (Colossians 1:9-12 and 2:6-7)

We believe that Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of God, He is eternal God and Creator of the World. He is our Savior, our Redeemer, and He is the coming King. We believe God to be eternally existing in three equally divine Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God and that we are tasked to make the treasure of the Gospel known. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 3:16-17)

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His atoning death, in His physical resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His future return in power and glory. (John 1, Matt 1:18; John 20:30-31; Hebrews 10:10-19; 1 Cor 15:13-20; Revelation 22:12-20)

We believe that God created human beings, male and female, in his own image and men and women are equally made in the image of God and have equal access to God by faith in Christ Jesus. The first created human being was Adam, followed by Eve and they “were made to complement each other in a one-flesh union that establishes the only normative pattern of sexual relations for men and women, such that marriage ultimately serves as a type of the union between Christ and his church.” (Foundation Documents, confessional statement #3-The Gospel Coalition) We believe that men and women have distinctive roles that reflect the relationship between Christ and the church and that the husband has headship. We affirm the Nashville Statement by the Coalition of Biblical Sexuality. (Genesis 1:27; Genesis 2:7, 21-24; Ephesians 5:22-25; 1 Peter 3:7)

We believe that salvation for the lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. (John 3:5; Titus 3:5)

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling presence the Christian is enabled to grow in obedience to Jesus and be a witness for Him. (John 14:16-17, 26, 16:7-11; Acts 1:8)

We believe in the resurrection of both the believer and unbeliever; the believer will be resurrected to eternal life in Heaven and the unbeliever to eternal punishment. (Matthew 25:31-46; 1 Corinthians 15:44)

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in God’s family through our Lord Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 2:6, 4:3-4)

We affirm the Lausanne Covenant which emerged from the First Lausanne Congress in 1974.
